Delete your account and data

1. About this page

This page explains how to request deletion of your Mentro account and the personal data associated with it. Mentro is operated by Thirteen Lab. The instructions below apply to accounts created in the Mentro browser extension and on our website.

2. Delete your account from inside the extension

The fastest way to permanently delete your account is from within the extension:

• Open the Mentro extension and sign in
• Go to Settings → Delete Profile
• Confirm the deletion when prompted

Your account, sessions and personal data are removed immediately, and any active subscription is cancelled.

3. Request deletion by email

If you no longer have the extension installed, or you cannot sign in, you can request account deletion by email:

• Send an email to zaurberd.work@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account
• Use the subject line "Delete my account"
• We confirm receipt within 2 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days

4. What data is deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:

• Account profile (email address, hashed password)
• All focus session history (focus and break records, timestamps, status)
• Authentication tokens and device sessions
• Extension preferences synced to your account

5. What data is retained, and for how long

A limited amount of data is retained for legal, security and accounting reasons:

• Billing records (invoices, transaction IDs, country and tax data) are retained by our payment provider Paddle and by us for up to 10 years, as required by tax and accounting law
• Server logs (IP address, request path, response code) are retained for up to 90 days for security and abuse prevention, then deleted automatically
• Anonymised, aggregated data that cannot be linked back to you may be retained indefinitely

Cached AI-generated voice audio is keyed by the hash of the input text and is not associated with your account, so it is not personal data and is not affected by deletion.

6. Subscriptions

Deleting your account cancels any active Mentro subscription so you will not be billed again. If you also want a refund, please see our Refund Policy.
